The Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) is composed of biologists, statisticians, toxicologists and other experts who provide independent scientific advice to the EPA on a wide-range of health and safety issues related to pesticides. The expertise of the seven members of the FIFRA SAP is augmented by the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA) Science Review Board (SRB), a pool of scientists who assist in reviews conducted by the Panel. The Federal Advisory Committee Act governs the panel formation process.

The purpose of this site is to provide information, including agendas, panel rosters, and background materials, for FIFRA SAP meetings since 1996. If you are looking for specific issues addressed by the SAP, please use the A to Z Subject Index. If you are looking for additional or more specific information on EPA pesticides programs, please go to EPA’s Pesticides home page.
