The Inland Empire U.S. Export Assistance Center works with the following federal agencies and other key partners in assisting local businesses with their export objectives: 

  • The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is the official export credit agency of the United States. Ex-Im Bank's mission is to assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets.   • The U.S. Small Business Administration provides international trade financing for U.S. small businesses. It has a variety of trade finance programs, including SBA ExportExpress and Export Working Capital.
  • Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) activities include regulating the export of sensitive goods and technologies; enforcing export controls, antiboycott, and public safety laws, etc. To determine if you need a Commerce Export License, please review the Export Control Basics .   • Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) helps U.S. businesses invest overseas, fosters economic development in new and emerging markets, complements the private sector in managing the risks associated with foreign direct investment, and supports U.S. foreign policy.
  • U.S. Trade and Development Agency's (USTDA) mission is to advance economic development and U.S. commercial interests in developing and middle-income countries. USTDA’s program benefits a variety of U.S. firms.  From consulting firms to exporters, USTDA offers opportunities for U.S. businesses of every size to expand their reach into global markets.
  • The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) works to improve foreign market access for U.S. products, build new markets, improve the competitive position of U.S. agriculture in the global marketplace, and provide food aid and technical assistance to foreign countries.
