In my time here at the Sacramento USEAC I feel that I became truly prepared to enter into the business world. This job allows the intern to see an export success through from beginning to end; working on everything from determining what the client needs, to providing market research on potential markets, and to working with our colleagues abroad to facilitate the smooth importation of our clients’ export goods.

The internship not only develops an intern’s customer service skills, but also provides them with the tools necessary, allowing them to continue to serve customers long after the internship is over. The resources utilized by the intern are, for the most part, open to the public and can serve as invaluable tools in the private sector as well.

I feel confident that as I leave here I have acquired the skills and the training necessary to allow me to stand out in a very competitive job market.
