Export Financing: A Powerful Tool for Expanding Your International Sales
This seminar is offered by GBC International Bank in concert with the Export-Import Bank of the United States. The Export-Import Bank is a government agency that fulfills its mission to grow jobs through exports by guaranteeing working capital loans for U.S. exporters. GBC is one of Ex-Im Bank’s delegated authority lenders that can offer credit lines to exporters under Ex-Im Bank guarantees. International Trade Finance: Methods of Payment
This seminar will cover the various methods of payment for export and import transactions, the different benefits and the associated risks. Participants will learn about letters of credit and the respective differences between revocable, irrevocable, confirmed and special types of credits like transferable letters of credit; commercial terms; insuring against possible risks; export financing; and addressing the foreign currency and exchange risks. Also an overview of SBA's Export Working Capital Program will be provided.
