Hurricane Surge Maps

The maps below are thumbnails of hurricane surge maps developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. These maps are based on The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service Sea, Lake and Overland Surges from Hurricanes (SLOSH) model that assumed a normal forward storm motion of 5 to 15 miles per hour. For more information about these maps contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
