MEDICAL FRAUD TECHNOLOGY FORUM
WASHINGTON, DC - Deputy Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and Nancy-Ann DeParle, Administrator of the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) will address a conference on "Combating Health Care Fraud & Abuse: Technologies and Approaches for the 21st Century." The forum begins Monday, June 26 at the Doubletree Hotel National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

The conference will feature health care fraud technology detection system exhibits, as well as discussions to exchange information about technology and collaborative approaches for detecting and investigating fraud and abuse in federal and state health care programs. The conference will fulfill a goal of the National Health Care Fraud and Abuse Task Force to promote greater use of information technology in fighting fraud and abuse.
