WASHINGTON, D.C. - Joel I. Klein, Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Department's Antitrust Division, will hold a press conference today, Thursday, June 1, at 2:30 p.m. (ET), in New York City, and is expected to announce charges in a major bid rigging case that affects the New York City area.

Also participating in the press conference are Barry W. Mawn, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director in charge of the New York FBI Office and Joseph A. Galasso, Branch Chief of the Internal Revenue Service's Criminal Investigation Division.
