Teiko Saito

Photo of Teiko SaitoSince 1980, Teiko Saito has served in a variety of positions in a number of Service programs including the Director's Office, Refuges, Endangered Species, External Affairs, Human Resources, and International Affairs. She became Deputy Assistant Director of International Affairs in January 2002 and in early 2006 became Acting Assistant Director. Prior to this appointment, she headed the Division of Management Authority; Branch of Permits.

She also worked in the Interior Department's Office of the Secretary as Special Assistant to the Director, Office for Equal Opportunity and Chief of Complaints Processing in the Department's National Business Center. Teiko graduated from Northwestern University with a Master's degree in Education and holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Puget Sound.
