The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is located approx. 11 miles NE from downtown Denver, Colorado.

  • Hours: EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2009:
    Refuge Hours: 6am-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday.
    Visitor Center Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday.
  • Access: All visitors must enter through the south gate which is located at 56th Ave. and Havana St. in Commerce City, Colorado. Please see the Map for further direction.
  • Nature Programs and Tours: For information about specific nature programs and tours, please call the Visitors Center at 303/289-0930.
