On Wednesday, April 29th the Eastern Massachusetts NWR Complex signed a Partnership Agreement with the Friends of Assabet River NWR.  This was an exciting step in the ten year long relationship between the refuge and the Friends.  As the newly constructed Complex visitor center at Assabet River NWR nears completion, this was a critical step in order to heighten the longstanding relationship between the two groups.  This will now afford the Friends the opportunity to run a Nature Store and have office space at the new visitor center. A tentative opening for the new center is spring 2010.
