The annual Sonoran Shindig was held at the county park.  The Shindig is a celebration of the Sonoran Desert, people and wildlife.  The Cabeza Prieta NWR and the Friends group, Cabeza Prieta Natural History Association participated with information booths and talked with visitors.  The Kofa Complex NWR and Buenos Aires NWR also participated.
