Connecting People With Nature: Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office Reaches Students through Virtual Classroom

Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office Biological Science Technician Denise Clay presented a video conference address at the Buffalo Museum of Science in Buffalo, NY to 4th grade students from the Williamsville Central School District in Williamsville, NY.  The session included information about the Lower Great Lakes, the importance of freshwater resources, fish physiology, and aquatic invasive species. 

The program is part of a partnership of New York Sea Grant, the Buffalo Museum of Science, and Tift Nature Preserve.  Four classes with a total of 100 children plus teachers participated following a visit to Tift Nature Preserve in Buffalo, NY.
