Northeast Region, November 6, 2008 Print Friendly Version The Friends of Aroostook NWR operated a booth at the Presque Isle Mall for 3 days,  providing information and displaying wildlife items for the public.  Later in December they hosted an open house at the refuge and will be hosting a Cross Country Ski Event on February 7th.  The Ski event takes place on refuge trails and gives youth an opportunity to connect with the winter world on skis.
