Journal Entry   Back New LNG Project Proposes Routes Through Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge Northeast Region, December 4, 2008 Print Friendly Version Moosehorn NWR participated in a site visit with FERC, Army Corps of Engineers and several other agencies who were interested in the Calais LNG project.  The "Calais LNG Project" will build its facility near St. Croix Island NPS site and the pipe line will either go around Moosehorn NWR or several routes go through the refuge.  The LNG people are aware of the refuges biological integrity and appropriateness concerns for impacts to the refuge.
