CCESFO staff participated in the Rio Reforestation refuge public outreach event to plant native trees on Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. This annual event includes local communities, schools, and conservation groups who gain information and support the refuges in the Rio Grande Valley. Approximately 800 volunteers helped plant trees.
