Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary staff assist with planting of grassland to restore habitat for grassland birds and other wildlife species.

This project involved the establishment of 10 acres of warm season prairie grassland habitat on the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The site was the used as the spoils deposit area for a wetland lagoon dredging project done on another part of the sanctuary. The site will provide habitat for grassland birds and other wildlife species.
