Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge Provides Space for Rare Plant!

Refuge staff have partnered with the New England Wildflower Society and the Friends of Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge to control encroaching woody vegetation at a stand of rare Northern Wild Senna.  Plant monitoring reveals that the vegetation control has been successful with a large increase in the number of Northern Wild Senna plants from 2005 to 2008!
