“Connecting People with Nature” – Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office Participates in 2008 Newfane Environmental Fair

Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office biologist Betsy Trometer participated in the 2008 Niagara County Environmental Fair held at Fisherman's Park in Newfane, NY.  Betsy demonstrated the collection and identification of aquatic macroinvertebrates to third graders.  A total of 140 elementary students attended the 1-day program hosted by the Niagara County Soil & Water Conservation District.
