Journal Entry   Back Missouri River Summit 2008 Midwest Region, July 17, 2008 Print Friendly Version Project Leader Tracy Hill and Branch Chief for Missouri River Studies Wyatt Doyle traveled to Yankton, SD on 23 June to attend the Fish and Wildlife Service Missouri River Summit Meeting.  The focus of the meeting was to discuss the overall progress made towards implementation of the 2003 Biological Opinion, the lower basin Mitigation Program and the future potential of Missouri River Ecosystem Recovery Project.  The group also spent considerable time discussing the Shallow Water Habitat Program and what could be done to achieve further success in that program.  The meeting was attended by 16 Fish and Wildlife personnel from both Regions 3 and 6.
