ELFO Biologist Presents Program on Endangered Species
Midwest Region, June 3, 2008
Print Friendly Version

East Lansing Field Office biologist Barbara Hosler presented a program as part of the adult lecture series at the Kingman Museum in Battle Creek, Michigan.  The presentation introduced the attendees to the federally listed species found in Michigan and also included a brief overview of the Endangered Species Act.  Participants were able to learn about the natural history of these species and the threats they face as well as efforts to recover their populations.  In addition, we celebrated endangered species success stories, such as the bald eagle.  Everyone in attendance was engaged and asked great questions at the end of the talk.
