Sullivan Creek NFH Lake trout broodstock building near Brimley Michigan

Brood stock facilities in the Great Lakes Lake Trout program provide an opportunity for Service staff to experience the fall Lake trout spawning each year.  This year, the Jordan River and Sullivan's Creek National Fish Hatcheries (NFH) assisted with the project. New project leader Roger Gordon who was formerly with the Lake trout program and has now returned, assisted the team in September and Fisheries Biologist Paul Haver assisted at Sullivan’s Creek NFH in October. Working on the egg takes is hard work and Sullivan’s staff always does a great job!
