East Lansing Field Office biologist Barbara Hosler presented a workshop session for the Graduate School at Michigan State University.  The workshop, Translating Academic Success into Expanded Career Opportunities in Agencies, Industry, Academia, and Non-Profit Organizations, was designed for doctoral students who are considering careers beyond the tenure-track or post-doc route.  The presentation provided these students with an insider’s view on the wealth of possibilities within the federal government and concrete instructions and tips for applying for federal employment.
