The Federal Junior Duck Stamp judging for Arizona was a complete success.  22 volunteers and judges met at the Gila Bend School.  A new record of entries was set this year with over 1700 entries received for the contest.  Garrett Reed was chosen as the overall Best of Show with a Ruddy Duck. Garrett is a 15 year old student from Snowflake High School, taught by both his art instructor as well as his mother, who is an accomplished artist.  Garrett will represent Arizona in the national contest on April 17, 2008, in San Diego, California.
