Josiah and Valer Austin, owners of the El Coronado Ranch in Cochise County, Arizona, received the Conservationist of the Year Award from the American Fisheries Society Arizona/New Mexico Chapter.  The Austins are very active in conservation on their ranches in southeastern Arizona and northern Sonora Mexico.  The Austins have been instrumental in the effort to restore native fish in southeastern Arizona by providing valuable habitat on their ranch.  The Austins have done an amazing amount of restoration work on their lands, both in the United States and Mexico, and are very deserving of this award.
