Journal Entry   Back WALLKILL RIVER NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGEPRESENTS CCP/LPP TO COUNTY BOARD Northeast Region, February 7, 2008 Print Friendly Version Refuge Manager Edward Henry presented the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Plans and Land Protection Plan to the Sussex County (NJ) Public Advisory Committee. Among the 25 people in attendance were a county freeholder, a borough mayor and the county undersheriff. The well-received presentation included a formal presentation and a question and answer session. Partnerships were discussed as key factor in developing the plan in making its implementation a success. The board agreed to draft a comment letter in support of the Service's preferred alternative.
