One AESO Biologist Educatesover 4,000 Arizonanson Native Wildlife and Wildlife Career Opportunities

AESO Biologist, Jeff Servoss, conducted 24 presentations throughout the 2007 calendar year to a multitude of audiences with varying cultural and racial ethnicities and socio-economic statures.  Live, native reptiles maintained in educational display units were used to launch discussion into such topics as natural history, habitat, animal behavior, ecology, human safety, wildlife/habitat conservation, as well as introduce young people to career opportunities with the USFWS.  These presentations occured in several venues including K-12 schools, private resorts, science teacher conferences, and city parks.  Approximately 4,225  citizens of Arizona attended these presentations throughout 2007.
