Noc Night Volunteers 10/27/07

On October 27, 2007, Wallkill River NWR staff, and about 30 volunteers teamed up with the Friends of Wallkill River for a fun, educational alternative to Halloween.  "Noc Night" offered children and their parents an opportunity to explore the nature trail at night where they could interact with nocturnal critters (actors in costumes) and learn about each animal and its habitat.   These guided tours ended with refreshments around the campfire.  In total about 80 parents and children participated.
