Journal Entry   Back Arkansas River Shiner Management Plan meeting with the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority Southwest Region, November 8, 2007 Print Friendly Version John Hughes and Tom Cloud of the Arlington Ecological Services Field Office and Daniel Fenner of the Oklahoma Ecological Services Field Office attended a meeting hosted by the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority on November 8, 2007.  The meeting gave participants in the Arkansas River Shiner Management Plan an opportunity to provide updates on invasive species control efforts and Arkansas River shiner population monitoring surveys.  Mr. Fenner and Mr. Hughes gave presentations on Arkansas River shiner population monitoring efforts and invasive species control efforts funded by the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program.  Approximately 35 people attended the meeting.
