Journal Entry   Back Arlington Field Office discusses career opportunities with students at the University of Texas at Arlington Southwest Region, September 24, 2007 Print Friendly Version On September 24, 2007, Sean Edwards of the Arlington, Texas Field Office made a presentation to graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Texas at Arlington regarding careers with the Service.  The students were given a better understanding of the Service’s Mission, the Endangered Species Act, a description of the various programs within the Service, and our role in conserving natural resources.  Also detailed were several pathways to career placement including volunteer efforts and the STEP and SCEP programs.
