Twin Cities Field Office employees Gary Wege and Susan Oetker attended the biannual meeting and symposium of the Freshwater Mussel Conservation Society. 

This meeting draws hundreds of malacolgical professionals from across the country to share research and ideas.  Particularly relevent to TCFO were discussions on in situ rearing of mussel juveniles as well as discussions of issues surrounding endangered species.
