Three staff members from Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge attended training during the summer.  Park Ranger Charles Marshall attended the Regional Visitor Services Workshop at Neal Smith NWR June 18-22.  The workshop's theme "Connecting People with Nature" was the primary focus emphasizing connecting children and nature.  Maintenance Mechanic Jacob Lehmer and Tractor Operator Daryl Walker attended the Region 3 Maintenance Workshop at Onalaska, Wisconsin August 20-24.  Attendees received  information about a variety of Service and Regional Programs besides covering many safety topics.
