Park Ranger Marshall Participates in a Summer Day Camp

Squaw Creek Park Ranger Charles Marshall participated in the St. Joseph Pony Express Museum Summer Day Camp. 

The the final day of this week-long  program was held July 12 in St. Joseph at the Pony Express Museum.  Marshall displayed animal pelts and discussed how early settlers harvested furs for subsistence. 

Animal track casts were made by all the youth as a follow up hands-on activity.  A total of 40 elementary students particpated.
