Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge displayed its portable exhibit at the 28^th Annual Seafood "Feast-i-val" in Cambridge, MD, on Saturday, August 11. The exhibit was staffed by public use intern Billy Mahoney and biology intern Amy Preston, who promoted the refuge to some of the more than 1,400 people who attended the event. The Feast-i-val is a family event that features all-you-can-eat buffets of local seafood and chicken, raising funds for the local Rescue Fire Company. Blackwater NWR is one of the few entities who are given free space at the event, which draws locals and tourists alike.
