A "Women in the Outdoors" event, organized by the National Wild Turkey Federation at Muscatatuck NWR, brought 41 women to the refuge.  Participants in the event learned about shotgunning, turkey calling/call making, turkey hunting, outdoor cooking, fly fishing, self defense, archery, wilderness survival, kayaking, handguns, and the refuge.
