Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office STEP students Margaret Donohue and Liz Migliore participated in the 2007 Niagara County Environmental Field Days held at Fisherman’s Park in Newfane, NY.  Resources office staff demonstrated the impacts of storm water runoff to water quality and aquatic invertebrates, and the ecological benefits provided by forested riparian buffers and wetlands.  A total of 250 elementary and middle school students attended the 1-day program hosted by the Niagara County Soil & Water Conservation District.
