From July 12-15, the Detroit River is host to one of the largest fishing tournaments in North America that will offer $1.5 million in prize money, generate $4 to $5 million for the local economy, and provide another opportunity to highlight nationally the transformation of our international riverfront.

There will be four days of competitive bass fishing, plus July 14 and 15 (noon to 4:00 p.m. both days) will also include a major outdoor recreation expo and "Family Fun Zone" at Cobo Center that is free to the public.  Please mark your calendars and join in the fun along our great American Heritage River.
