The 2007 Golden-cheeked Warbler Symposium was held at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin June 27-28, 2007.  The Sysposium was sponsored by Environmental Defense, the Service, and Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and featured presentations on research and conservation activities related to the Golden-cheeked Warbler.  Topics included an update on the five-year status review for the warbler.  The event brought experts and interested parties together to share information on the biology and status of this endangered migratory songbird.
