The 6th annual Upper Tanana Migratory Bird Festival was held in Tok, Alaska on May 19, 2007.  Sponsored by the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge, the Alaska Gateway School District, Tok Chamber of Commerce, Tok Lions Club and numerous other organizations and businesses, the festival strives to promote understanding and appreciation of migratory birds.  Highlights of this year's festival included: a bird watching tour; songbird banding demonstration; Junior Duck Stamp entries display; kid's games and activities; Young Naturalist contest; and a mini-musical "Adventures in the Great Outdoors" by local elementary school students.  Over 150 participated in the all-day event.
