Thirty students and two natural resources professors from Berkshire Community College attended a two hour program on Atlantic salmon restoration efforts on the Connecticut River while visiting the Cronin National Salmon Station in Sunderland, Mass.  During the interactive program students fed broodstock in the main hatchery building and in the outdoor raceways.  The students asked many questions resulting in great discussion and conversation with hatchery staff.  The college has been bringing students to visit the hatchery for ten years, with plans to continue the tradition next year.
