Corpus Christi Ecological Services Field Office personnel assisted youth teams as they competed in the Great Texas Birding Classic.  This was the 11th Annual Birding Classic, whose mission is to raise money for bird habitat conservation through competition.  The youth team competition, called “Roughwings”, is for kids 13 or younger.  Service staff served as team captains for 7 Roughwings teams and assisted in bird identification and birding skills.
