Fishery Biologist Adam Kowalski was invited to speak at the Alpena High School on March 8, 2007. Kowalski gave 45 min. PowerPoint presentation to an advanced biology class.

Kowalski’s presentation highlighted his duties as a fishery biologist, the path he too to obtain his position, opportunities within the Fish and Wildlife Service, pay scales, and other opportunities as a fisheries biologist.

This invitation was initiated by one of the students as part of a class project. This was great opportunity for the Alpena FRO to talk with a group of biology students about some things that the USFWS does in the local community.
