Print Friendly Version
Arizona Ecological Services staff provided an overview presentation on the Endangered Species Act and tribal coordination to the Tribal Relations Support Team of the Arizona Southwest Strategy.  The program also included presentations on the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.  The workshop was held at the new Tohono O'odham Nation's Cultural Center and Museum in Topawa, AZ.  Approximately 60 members of the Team and interested tribal representatives attended.  The Tohono O'odham Nation's Chairwoman welcomed the group and participated in the workshop.  The workshop concluded with an afternoon fieldtrip to project sites to emphasize issues discussed during the workshop.
