The Green Bay Field Office participated in the kick-off for the State of Wisconsin's Wetland Team planning for wetland protection over the next 12 years. The project, called "Reversing the Loss", will establish the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' general goals and approaches for protecting and restoring wetlands in the state during the planning window. The Service, along with other state and federal agencies and public interest groups will provide advice and recommendations to the Team on geographic, ecological and policy areas of particular concern, strategies for improving wetland protections, and strategies for increasing wetland restoration.
