Journal Entry   Back Malpai Borderlands Group Board approves draft HCP for Public Review Southwest Region, March 29, 2007 Print Friendly Version Malpai Borderlands Group submitted a draft Habitat Conservation Plan and an application for an Incidental Take Permit in September 2006.  AESO and the Malpai HCP technical team completed a revised draft in January 2007.  AESO presented that draft to the Malpai Borderlands Group board for approval to move forward with processing the permit application with the current draft HCP.  On March 29, 2007, the MBG board of directors approved the current draft of the Malpai HCP and requested that we continue processing the dHCP and Permit application.  We anticipate the draft HCP, draft Environmental Assessment, and permit application will be available for public comment in May or June 2007.
