Cathy Carnes and Stacy Gilmore of the Service’s Ecological Services Green Bay, Wisconsin, Field Office, set up and staffed an information booth at the Wisconsin Society of Science Teacher’s 2007 “Explorations” Convention.

Information on endangered species, wetlands, grasslands, and migratory birds was provided to science teachers (including environmental education teachers) for use in their indoor and outdoor classrooms and to promote outdoor activities with children.

Teachers were also advised of the environmental educational materials available for loan at the.Green Bay office, where their library of teaching aids includes books, videos, and activity guides covering the subjects of endangered species, grasslands, wetland, and wildlife.
