The Division of Diversity and Civil Rights coordinated participation in the "2007 School to World" event, sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories, on March 10, 2007.  Four employees from the New Mexico Ecological Services Field Office and two individuals from the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge staffed a booth, which featured a raptor display and career information, at the Albuquerque Convention Center.  Over 1,800 diverse students from 98 schools in New Mexico and 400 + parents participated in the event, which featured over 500 presentations at the booths.  The presentations were interactive and provided an opportunity for the attendees to have a "hands on" experience.
