Alpena FRO Biologists Heather Rawlings and Anjanette Bowen, Steve DuShane, Detroit River IWR, and Jim Dastyck, Shiawassee NWR, attended the GIS Introduction for Conservation Professionals training, February 21-23, at NCTC. 

The training provided hands-on instruction in the use of ArcGIS software, an application that will enhance the Alpena FRO Partners for Fish and Wildlife and Aquatic Invasive Species programs by improving land use planning and efforts to target invasive species populations.
