Honoring our Past, Shaping our Future: Region 3 All Program Project Leaders Meeting
Midwest Region, March 12, 2007
Print Friendly Version

Project Leader Tracy Hill traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, the week of February 5th, to participate in Regions 3's Project Leader Meeting.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to address the stated theme of "Honoring our Past, Shaping our Future: Leading Change in the Midwest Region".

The meeting kicked off with an outstanding plenary session that set the stage for the rest of the meeting.  Plenary speakers addressed the changes in demographics and landscape conservation challenges.

Meeting organizers did an exceptional job of arranging excellent speakers throughout the meeting.  Participants were treated to presentations by Deputy Secretary Lynn Scarlett, Director Dale Hall, Regional Directors from both Region 2 and California/Nevada, as well as Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Vice-President Matt Hogan and retired Director Lynn Greenwalt.

The meeting provided a great opportunity to network with Project Leaders from across the Region as well as view presentations from a variety of topics ranging from Strategic Habitat Conservation to Renewable energy as a Midwest conservation issue.
