Necedah NWR wildlife refuge specialist/private lands biologist Bill Peterson presented on wildlife habitat management on private lands at the Feb. 9 Refuge Rambling program.  

Fifteen attendees learned about restoring native plant communities including prairie, barrens, bottomland forest, oak forest, and sedge meadows.  Local deer and turkey habitat management techniques were also summarized.
