Two members from the Friends of Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge went to Washington D.C. to participate in a National Refuge Friends Workshop, "Beyond the Boundaries."

The Workshop was held March 2-5, and was sponsored by the National Wildlife Refuge Association and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Twenty-two refuges in 22 states were represented at the Workshop.

On the last day of the event, Friends members met with several congressional leaders on capitol hill to spak about their concerns.

Paul Soler, Crane Meadows accompanied the two at the Worshop.
